With a unique view of the neighboring island of Cres and Kvarner Bay, by the sea, is located Trattoria Glavotok.

 

In the cozy atmosphere of our Trattoria we offer you a wide array of dishes and desserts with flavors of our region. Carefully selected ingredients prepared according to traditional recipes and dishes seasoned with sage, bay leaves, homemade olive oil, will win the most demanding palates of gourmets.

With the offer of fresh local fish, Adriatic squid and meat dishes, we are particularly proud of the homemade šurlice (a kind of local homemade pasta) which we, according to the recipes of our grandmothers, prepare for you.

If you are fans of traditionally prepared foods, we recommend the lamb, Adriatic squid or octopus under the lid. Domestic lamb from island Krk rocky ground, overgrown with wild growing herbs, gives food under the lid a harmony of all flavors.

With skill of the Italian masters trained in the Scuola Italiana pizzaiola (Italian school for pizza masters) we prepare pizzas with enriched flavors of our region. From a variety of pizzas that we offer we would recommend Pizza Glavotok, Marinara or Prosciutto.

A true delight for the taste buds, dessert lovers can find in daily fruit cakes, apple pies and cheesecakes, tiramisu or a dessert from dried figs.

To complete your gastronomic experience, try the well-known Krk wine Žlahtina which we use in preparing dishes, and we recommend it with all meat dishes from our menu. In the wine list of Trattoria Glavotok special place occupies Zlatna vrbnička žlahtina (Golden žlahtina from Vrbnik), Zlatna vrbnička žlahtina grand cru and Žlahtina Šipun.
