Welcome to camp Glavotok!

The island of Krk and Glavotok are just few hours away from major European capitals: 850 km from Prague, Munich 600 km, Budapest 550 km, 540 km from Vienna, Graz 360 km and Ljubljana 170 km. The easiest way to get to the island of Krk is by car over the Krk Bridge, by bus or by plane to the Rijeka airport situated close to Omišalj.


By car or by bus:

1) Villach (A) - Tunel Karavanke (SLO) - Ljubljana - Postojna - Rijeka (CRO) - exit in the direction Split, Kraljevica - Krk Bridge, the island of Krk - take the main road Krk Bridge/Krk. Turn right at the exit towards the ferry port Valbiska. Then follow signs Glavotok. The last 2 km are on a narrow road with places for overtaking.


The Krk bridge is free of charge.
 

2) Trieste (I) - Kozina (SLO) - Rupa (CRO) - Rijeka - Kraljevica - Krk Bridge, the island of Krk - take the main road Krk Bridge/Krk. Turn right at the exit towards the ferry port Valbiska. Then follow signs Glavotok. The last 2 km are on a narrow road with places for overtaking.
3) Graz (A) - Maribor (SLO) - Zagreb (CRO) - Rijeka - exit Crikvenica, the island of Krk - Krk Bridge, the island of Krk - take the main road Krk Bridge/Krk. Turn right at the exit towards the ferry port Valbiska. Then follow signs Glavotok. The last 2 km are on a narrow road with places for overtaking.
4) Budapest (HU) - Goričan (CRO) - Zagreb - Rijeka - exit Crikvenica, the island of Krk - Krk Bridge, the island of Krk - take the main road Krk Bridge/Krk. Turn right at the exit towards the ferry port Valbiska. Then follow signs Glavotok. The last 2 km are on a narrow road with places for overtaking.

1) Railway station Rijeka (50 km). From Rijeka to Krk there is a regular bus line (app. every 1,5 hour)

You can also arrive on the island by ferry from the island of Cres (Merag-Valbiska) and from Lopar on the island of Rab (Lopar-Valbiska).
